Last Tuesday we went to Te Tuhi. We saw the bus and climbed on to it. We heard the parents talking to us. We smelled the petrol of the bus. At Te Tuhi, we painted colour wheels. We needed to mix the colours. I felt happy because it was so much fun.

We are learning to make a plan. We can make a plan for any story. Making a plan helps us to remember what happened and to write about it. We need to remember to have a topic and at least 3 ideas about the topic in our plan. It is easy to make a plan.

Ordering numbers to 20

We are learning about numbers to 20. We had to order the numbers from smallest to biggest. We had to think about which is the smallest number and which is the biggest number. Then we had to count to find out what came next after every number.

We have been learning about root words. Root words are words that have s, ed or ing  as endings. We can make different words with different endings.
