Speech - DON'T LITTER!

 Reflection:
WALT write a speech to present to the class.
I found this tricky because I was hard to research because it was not kid language.
My next step is to add more detail to my speech and add some jokes and funny facts.

Tessellation

Reflection:

WALT: accurately create tessellation using different shapes.
I decided to make a pattern using Hexagons, triangles and a half of a hexagon shapes.
I found making a tessellation with 3 shapes challenging because I was working out how to fit them. My next step is to make sure that there is no white space.
Next time I would do a harder pattern.

Similes And Metaphor

WALT: to write similes and metaphor.
The similes were easy because I know lots about similes.
The metaphor was hard because I don't know much about metaphor.
My next step is to learn more about metaphor.

The Crystal Crescent Before Reading

 
Reflection:
WALT active our prior knowledge, make predictions and ask
thick and thin questions about our text.
The easiest question was the space brain storm because I know some stuff about space.
The hardiest question was the making predictions because I did not read the book yet.
My next step is understanding the questions.
